We all admire how Mairi Helena has a certain talent and skill in drawing inspiration from nature and abstracts her discoveries into amorphous memories of landscape. For this Mirrored Storm Fabric which reflects the movement of the blustery sand dunes on a wild windy day. The linen fabric features tones of deep blues, purples and copper with flashes of light grey and white. We decided to pull out and emphasise the rich autumnal tones in the design by lining it with a Satsuma silk lining, which has a slight pink glow in certain lights.
