This gives us the chance to understand your project, discuss ideas and help shape an initial direction. At the end of the meeting, you'll leave with a clearer plan for how to move forward.

Electrical repairs and PAT testing — Edinburgh based.
We offer a professional lamp repair service from our Edinburgh showroom. Every lamp we repair is put through our testing machine and leaves with a PAT test sticker confirming it has passed.
Because every fitting is different, we ask that you contact us before dropping anything in — so we can confirm whether the repair is something we can help with and give you an honest assessment upfront. There is no charge for the assessment.
What we commonly repair
- Broken lamp holders — often caused by a fall
- Rewiring old and antique lamps
- Rewiring lamps bought abroad (US, Hong Kong, Egyptian fittings) for safe UK use
What we don't cover
- Cosmetic repairs — touch-ups, cracks or broken bases
- Lampshade repairs, particularly broken frames or soft lined shades
- Broken glass, unless the fitting is from one of our own suppliers
