Julia Clare's Efflorescence Linen in Green Pendant Shade with Champagne Lining

Organic colours and the rich texture of Julia Clare's design are inspired by the archaeology of sandstone. Layers of the urban atmosphere form new colours from lichen and minerals like carbon and salt. The word 'efflorescence' means to 'flower out' in French and refers to the crystalline, mineral blooms from porous stone over time. This is a unique, contemporary design inspired by nature and a beauty found in urban architectural decay. The neutral, earthy and green olive tones within the design are complemented by the champagne coloured lining. This bespoke, handcrafted lampshade is design and made to order from our design studios, just for you.

Electrify your shade to your desired height by installing one of our pendant light fittings, available in a variety of drops and metal finishes. Paired here with our semi flush ceiling rod in antique brass; other size options available below.

The use of a ceiling rod is recommended to suspend shades with a diameter larger than 60cm.

If you choose a shade with a suspension, the overall height of the light fitting (i.e. the measurement from the ceiling to the bottom edge of the shade) will depend upon the choice of ceiling rod:

Flush adds approx. 3cm to the overall height of your shade.

Semi Flush adds approx. 11cm to the overall height of your shade.

Mid adds approx. 33cm to the overall height of your shade.

Long adds approx. 63cm to the overall height of your shade.
