Picture Lights and Spots

We are frequently asked “How can I light up my pictures?” There really is only one correct answer, with a dedicated Picture Light. Using a Picture light arching over the frame with the spill of light aimed back at the picture will both display the painting to its best and offer a lovely level of soft background light to the room.
Think about using spot lights on your walls in place of other task lights, such as under-cabinet lighting. If you don’t have high level cabinets to install task lighting on, mount a spot on the wall; the resulting pool of light on the work surface will be just the job.
Insider tip! Ensure you harmonise the colour temperature (expressed in Kelvins) of your lighting. If your LED picture lights are 3000K, make sure your other bulbs are the same.
