This inventive piece takes its inspiration from a large piece of weathered driftwood and is more sculpture than floor lamp. Standing tall, this magnificent organic slab is cast in a rich silver colour is seemingly impaled on a rectangular silver base plate. Thrusting skywards, its dynamic form is emphasized by an uneven, jagged slanting edge at the top. The lampshade seems almost to float aloft as it is supported by a thin silver rod running up the back of the floor lamp. This floor lamp particularly suits our large oval lampshade. An elegant shape and a handy space saving technique as the floor lamp can be positioned close into the wall.

Here we have covered the champagne lined oval lampshade in our Oceanic Night fabric to echo the organic feel of the piece. The soft velvety, luxurious fabric brings to mind Impressionist landscape painting of foliage. The greens gold and silver tones of woodland colours dappled in sunlight. This piece would suit a room where you would like to echo the outdoors and bring the outside in.
